Mariam & Niko

MARIAM KOBALADZE

Born in Batumi, she graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with a degree in journalism and has since worked for several major Georgian news agencies. Specializing in cultural and social topics, Mariam is particularly passionate about Georgia’s rich history, and contemporary arts scene. In addition to her journalism career, she contributes to short stories inspired by Georgian legends and everyday life. She enjoys traditional Georgian dancing, cooking khachapuri (cheese-filled bread), and traveling around the country.

NIKO GELASHVILI

He studied at the Georgian Technical University, where he specialized in urban design and sustainable architecture. Passionate about preserving traditional Georgian architectural elements while incorporating modern innovations, Niko has worked on multiple projects across the country, including residential and cultural buildings. In his free time, he enjoys hiking in the Caucasus mountains, photography, and playing the panduri (a traditional Georgian string instrument). He is also a wine enthusiast and loves learning about different regional winemaking techniques.
